Buy-side institutions aren't the only ones concerned about counterparty risk these days. With today's economic climate accelerating media closures, PR agencies are learning what haircuts are all about when the end unexpectedly comes. One less outlet to pitch clients to and subscription funds that won't likely be recouped.
Even the biggest and brightest are in trouble, but many are more sanguine, spying opportunities in the long term. Will press-shy investors like Carlos Slim ultimately be heros for the PR industry?
