On July 24th Cognito organized a Media Roundtable session for Cognito client Quantifi.  In a presentation entitled “The New OTC Derivatives Market: An Honest Look at Reform - What's Good, What's Bad, and What's Needed to Clean Up Risk,” Quantifi Founder and CEO Rohan Douglas, offered his perspective on OTC derivatives reform and the current efforts to create central clearing and ultimately, mitigate counterparty risk.

The session was attended by key journalists covering credit and financial services from publications including Bloomberg, Time,Reuters, AR, Derivatives Week, Markets Media, and GARP Risk Professional.  Cognito aims to facilitate discussion around the significant structural shifts in the global capital markets, seeking to connect our clients with the media to offer their insight in this environment of rapid change.
