    The changing media landscape – How corporates should look to adjust their communications strategy to ensure they meet their goals

     

    In the last five years journalism has gone through some dramatic and unprecedented developments, falling advertising revenues has forced the more traditional forms of media to retrench, revaluate their current models and in most cases consolidate their publications.

    However, this has resulted in an explosion of online journalism, both from the traditional style media moving more into the online space, and by the explosion of social media and citizen journalists.

    These very dramatic changes have resulted in companies having to adapt the way they communicate.  Additionally, the media are having to change the way they write and distribute their content in order to stay engaged with their readers.

    And finally, the consumer now has a voice, and with the current and emerging technologies that voice can be amplified to such a level that it can significantly affect a brands value, both in the short and long-term.

     

    Cognito’s London office has arranged a panel of speakers to discuss these far reaching changes, each working in a variety of mediums.  The panel comprises:
